.40 or 9mm?
« on: August 02, 2011, 03:19:07 pm »
Because I am old and arthritic, shooting my .40 Glock quickly makes my hands so painful that I have to stop.  While this wouldn't be a problem in an actual encounter, it does impact my training. And of course you should train with the weapon you plan to carry.

I converted my .40 G23 to 9mm by simply getting a 9mm barrel for it and the appropriate magazines.  This is better, but (for me) still not great.  But you can only do so much to make it work and that's what I've decided to do.

'Nuff sed.

Well, as all of us around here know, ALL HANDGUN ROUNDS SUCK! So converting over to 9mm is really no big deal.

You have to do what you have to do!
